Bandi’s got a Bun in the Oven!

Is this girl not gorgeous or what? Ms. Brandi came in to the studio wanting to get some shots of her cute baby bump belly. I had so much fun with her and her special guy Dennis. Brandi is 34 weeks pregnant and will be having the baby in March, if she lasts that long. :) Check out some of her shots and I will be posting more with the ones we did with her and Dennis. Enjoy!

A sad day…

My fiance, Andrew, and his family lost a very dear friend this week. Mrs. Debbie Pitts was a wonderful person to the family that I am about to become a part of in May, The Skaggs Family. Debbie suffered from MS and this is what took her life. I was able to meet her one time last year at Andrew’s Graduation from MTSU. She was the sweetest most kind person I have ever met. You could tell she felt horrible but she was so happy to be apart of that day with Andrew. There was something in her eyes that was captivating. Although I did not know her, Andrew loved her very much and she did him as well. The main reason I am writing besides the fact that I hope you keep your thoughts and prayers with the Pitts Family during this sad time, I wanted you to read the obituary. This truly shows how unselfish a person Mrs. Debbie really was. Donations are able to be made but not to where you would think. Most would think that she would want any money to be donated to the awful MS disease that has taken over so many people’s lives, including her own daughter Keely. But no…this wonderful lady has chose a disease that hits me right in the heart. She wants donations to be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The reason this hits home for me is because this is the disease that has taken over Andrew’s life. He was diagnosed when he was only a few weeks old, and I can’t even begin to tell you the routine and medication my sweet love has to take and do every day. Although I did not really know Mrs. Debbie, she will always have a place in my heart because she loved the person that I love the most. Please read the obituary and if you want to learn more about this wonderful lady you can visit her blog at http://amazingdebs.blogspot.com/. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this. My thoughts and prayers are with Mr. Hampton and Keely.

I’ve Been Warhol’d!!!

Check this out!!! I love it. The very talented Krista Lee of Krista Lee Photography has been working in conjunction with the very talented Photoshop Guru/Goddess Mama Shan on this awesome action that turns your photo into the Andy Warhol look. I am so lucky to be apart of Krista’s team because I am one of the official beta testers for this action :) I have said it before but I am saying it again. I am an associate photographer for KLP and have been with her since 2007. She is truly my mentor and a wonderful friend. She has so many awesome things planned for this year that me and all the other associates are able to take advantage of. Hope everyone is having a awesome thursday!
