My little puppy is growing up…

So if you remember the post where I gave Juno his debut on the blog HERE he was just a little tiny thing…well not so much anymore. I truly believe a puppy would have to be good training for a child (not that that is in our near future). He loves chewing on my shoes and got ahold of my Coach flip flops the other day that I got in Maui on our honeymoon last year….I wanted to kill him! But I am over it now and I think they are still salvagable. Here is his new headshot….enjoy! I will announce the winner of the contest for the free shoot by Monday :)

A sad day…

My fiance, Andrew, and his family lost a very dear friend this week. Mrs. Debbie Pitts was a wonderful person to the family that I am about to become a part of in May, The Skaggs Family. Debbie suffered from MS and this is what took her life. I was able to meet her one time last year at Andrew’s Graduation from MTSU. She was the sweetest most kind person I have ever met. You could tell she felt horrible but she was so happy to be apart of that day with Andrew. There was something in her eyes that was captivating. Although I did not know her, Andrew loved her very much and she did him as well. The main reason I am writing besides the fact that I hope you keep your thoughts and prayers with the Pitts Family during this sad time, I wanted you to read the obituary. This truly shows how unselfish a person Mrs. Debbie really was. Donations are able to be made but not to where you would think. Most would think that she would want any money to be donated to the awful MS disease that has taken over so many people’s lives, including her own daughter Keely. But no…this wonderful lady has chose a disease that hits me right in the heart. She wants donations to be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The reason this hits home for me is because this is the disease that has taken over Andrew’s life. He was diagnosed when he was only a few weeks old, and I can’t even begin to tell you the routine and medication my sweet love has to take and do every day. Although I did not really know Mrs. Debbie, she will always have a place in my heart because she loved the person that I love the most. Please read the obituary and if you want to learn more about this wonderful lady you can visit her blog at http://amazingdebs.blogspot.com/. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this. My thoughts and prayers are with Mr. Hampton and Keely.
