Shooting For A Cure-March 9th 2010

Shooting for a Cure is a dream of mine that came from someone that is very near and dear to my heart, my husband Andrew. Andrew was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at 6 weeks old. Though, we have been very blessed that he does not suffer as most CF patients do, it is still bad enough on any level. Cystic Fibrosis is a disease of the lungs and digestive system. CF patients go through so much to keep themselves going day by day. Scientists are making discoveries every day to help find a cure for this disease. My goal is to help fundraise for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and to help CF patient’s families with Medical and Prescription costs.

The Event

Dedicating a day to shooting and raising money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The event will consist on providing basic headshots to individuals such as realtors, executives, agents, consultants and/or anyone interested. Please come out and enjoy refreshments and fun with the photographers and learn about Cystic Fibrosis. We will have 6 photographers dedicating their time and commitment to provide their services for you.

The Big Update: I have to say a really big THANK YOU!!! (please read)

So anyone who knows me knows that photography is not just my job but my whole life. I get to wake up everyday and be creative and try new things and play with technology! I have become such a nerd but I love every minute of it. But without sounding too corny and sound like I am making an acceptance speech at the Oscars, I would really like to say thank you to you all. My clients are my world. You all are the reason for me being able to wake up everyday and love what I get to do. I hope that I make each and every one of you happy with what my camera lets me capture. I hope you treasure your memories for a lifetime.

As you may have noticed, my blog has not been very up to date and you all are the reason why :) I have been so incredibly blessed with business that I have been a little overwhelmed. So I have been trying to put so much together and get my business where it needs to be. I also took time off and went to Florida for about 5 days…I don’t know if “taking off” is really the term because I worked while I was there too! But who wouldn’t want to be working while on the beach? So I am now determined to get everything on here and let you all see what has been going on the past couple of weeks.

Most of you already know this but I now have my own studio! This in itself is truly a dream come true and I have had such a wonderful time getting it in shape. Although it is not quite there yet…but it will be very soon. I will also be having an open house and would love to meet my blog readers! More to come on that. I have hired an editor to help me with my jobs. This will be a wonderful relief off me and I can focus on you all so much more!

Ok about the Seminar that I was going to be doing…I have decided to go a different route with this. I think private lessons may be better for a little while for everyone. I can’t seem to get every one on the same schedules. If you are interested in learning about the basics of photography and do not want to go to College to do so…hit me up. We will learn all sorts of things. Email me at andi@andiincphotography.com.

We have also launched a design website that my husband manages. This is not quite finished but will be up and running so soon. We will be featuring custom cards, baby announcements, stationary, and more. Be sure to check out our Fall and Halloween line that will be out so soon! www.andianddrew.com

I have also launched a big marketing campaign and will be doing several Bridal shows in the near future. The next one that will be at will be on September 24th at The Factory in Franklin. It is called the Franklin Bridal Ball and girls let me say you will not want to miss this. It is complete with all vendors, fashion shows and so much more. Please come see my booth!  I would love to meet up with all you new brides out there. I am also giving away 5 tickets to five lucky brides so keep checking back for info on how to win!

I have brand new albums that I will be displaying also. I have found a fabulous company that does fabulous work and I can’t wait to show these to you!!!! I truly call it “a book that you will never take off your coffee table!” Sneak peak soon…

I had such a wonderful time in Florida with my wonderful new family. I got married in May and I truly have such wonderful in-laws. We all went down for this family adventure. Andrew (my husband) and I have 4 nieces and nephews and one more on the way and of course I wanted to get some great shots of them on the beach. Here are a few…
